8 best natural ways to reduce cellulite and burn fat
We just need to face it. Us women suffer from a lot of annoying and pretty hard to deal with issues, one of them being cellulite. But on our site we're trying to make things better for preventing or at least reducing cellulite. Remember the basics about cellulite prevention and elimination: poor diet, smoking, frequent and extended periods of sitting or standing in one place, and poor circulation are common contributors to bad skin. Of course there are some high quality and high priced anti cellulite products that have a serious potential, but we'll try to explore the more natural side of the cellulite prevention and elimination processes.
Burn fat and reduce cellulite with these basic anti cellulite tips
Along with reducing cellulite, these remedies and tricks are supposed to also burn fat from all unwanted areas.
1. Make your diet ideal for fat burning
I think you know by now that without a proper diet you can't do anything with your body. Your eating habits determine how you feel and look. The basic principle is to consume less simple sugars and carbohydrates and include more fiber in your diet to improve digestive health. Don't eliminate fats from your diet, this macro nutrient being essential for fat loss and cellulite burning. Just be sure to eliminate unsaturated fats like vegetable oil with healthy Omega-3 fats such as olive, almond, or avocado oil and trade out sources of trans fats like margarine for lauric acid-rich coconut oil to boost skin health.
Also another thing you should be careful about is your consumption of sodium (keep it at 2300mg max or less). What you do need to eat is more fresh fruits and veggies with high water content such as melons, cucumbers, and dark leafy greens to increase skin elasticity and detoxify your body.
2. Drink sufficient water
It’s a fact that if you aren’t giving it enough water to work with, your body won’t be able to effectively break down cellulite. For this reason alone, keeping yourself hydrated is rule number one when it comes to getting rid of the bumps of fat.
As if that wasn’t enough, remember that there could potentially be a large amount of toxins stored away in your fat cells. When cellulite is broken down, any chemical contaminants that are stored there will be released back into your body. In order to flush these toxins out, it is absolutely critical to drink plenty of water.
3. Dry skin brushing
Once you’ve made some adjustments about your water intake, try dry skin brushing to eliminate cellulite. This anti cellulite method is considered by many to be one of the most effective natural remedy for this purpose. In some cases, women saw a significant reduction in the appearance of cellulite after only one month. Dry skin brushing works by opening up pores and removing dead skin, thus helping to cleanse the body by allowing toxins to exit more easily.
This method also improves circulation and stimulates collagen production, leading to stronger and smoother skin. So it's pretty clear that the benefits outweigh the boredom provoked by the process itself.
Just bear in mind to make your strokes firm enough to stimulate the skin, but not so hard as to cause irritation.
4. Use coconut oil to get rid of cellulite
The health benefits of coconut oil are many, including its abilities to increase metabolism, reduce hunger, and improve skin elasticity. A good idea would be to use coconut oil as a moisturizer after dry skin brushing for an immediate boost to skin health. Also, try adding a couple of tablespoons of coconut oil per day to your diet to help you burn fat and improve your overall health.
5. Rosemary and juniper oil to reduce cellulite
The essential oils of rosemary and birch oil both have a positive effect on circulation and can help the body to flush out toxins from fat and muscle tissue. To create a detoxifying moisturizer, you can make a homemade anti cellulite mix with 30 drops of rosemary oil and 30 drops of juniper oil diluted in 100 ml of jojoba oil. Apply this mixture daily after derma rolling or after your bath to help detoxify and strengthen skin. Using this method, you may see noticeable results as fast as one week!
6. Birch oil and rose seed oil
Along with the more popular anti cellulite oils, we need to mention two other oils that do a good job at improving our skin: birch and rose hip oil. Apply these after derma rolling or after applying the coffee scrub that we're about to write about
7. Anti cellulite coffee scrub
It's not the first time that I'm mentioning coffee scrubs as being ideal for reducing cellulite. Many women have reported success with a simple mix of coffee grounds and warm water. Scrub your body for about ten minutes twice per week on areas where cellulite reduction is desired. You should start to see some great results after four weeks of regular treatment.
8. Derma roller to treat cellulite
While a self treatment with a derma roller can be painful – especially when used on sensitive areas – it is yet another tried, tested and proven method for stimulating collagen production in the dermis. Make sure to get a derma roller that seems to be top quality and you won't be risking to make you're skin look even worse.
