Natural remedies to get rid of cellulite
We women are among the most oppressed beings on earth... We “get to have” cellulite, stretch marks, wrinkles, a whole lot of problems arise from a certain age, even in our younger state. Stretch marks occur especially after women have given birth, but can also be determined by weight fluctuations.
How does cellulite form?
Cellulite occurs when the subcutaneous fat layer is suffering from inflammation. Yes, as it sounds, that is a relatively serious situation. The phrase that the cosmetic world uses to name cellulite is "the cottage cheese looking" skin or an “orange peel look” that occurs most often on our thighs buttocks, abs and sometimes even on our arms, especially on the back of the arm, the triceps area.
The content of subcutaneous fat cells is altered, but what also happens, in terms of vascularization, is pretty much due to an inadequate diet, the stress in our lives or the lack of regular exercise. These are one of tha causes of the orange peel appearance of your skin. Cellulite is pretty difficult to remove, the entire process requiring time, patience and a strong will.
Natural cellulite treatment methods
1. Drink a cup of dandelion infusion on a daily basis.
Put 1 to 2 teaspoons of this dried herb in a cup of boiling water, leave for 10 minutes, strain. For a better taste, you can add a slice of lemon, and then drink unsweetened, of course.
2. Ivy decoction compress.
To prepare the decoction you are required approx. 300 grams of well grinded dried plant. You need to let it boil in 1.5 liters of water. Let the water simmer for two hours. Then let it cool down, covering the pot with a lid and after that, when the temperature reached a decent value, strain the decoction in order to use a compress to soften and clear the skin. Apply the compress on the thighs, hips and on every area where cellulite is present. Ideally, these packs should be used before bed so they can act for a long period of time just as a body wrap or let the decoct work for at least 30 minutes after you've taken a shower and scrubbed your skin. It is good that this method be used about 3-4 times a week for a month, after which you take a break and resume the procedure.
3. Massage with essential oils
There are 3 essential oils known for their cellulite removing effect - the juniper, lavender and rosemary oil. Juniper and rosemary have the effect of lymphatic drainage by stimulating blood and lymph circulation. Moreover, they melt subcutaneous fat and fight water retention. Lavender oil, besides its fragrant tones, it revitalizes the skin. You can use a roller for cellulite massage.
4. Anti cellulite scrub
Create a blend of a few teaspoons of honey, a teaspoon of brown sugar and a few teaspoons of olive oil, then rub in for 10-15 minutes.
